Overview
Jerez, know as the land of Sherry, is located in southern Spain along the Mediterranean Sea. With 300 days of sunshine every year this region is playground for many tourist.
History
Jerez has a very long history of viniculture dating back to 1100 BC. The region and its most famous product Sherry, derive from Arabic roots. It is uncertain as to where the original vines originated from but the most likely candidate is Persia.
